HARDWARE ENGINEER SALES EXECUTIVE

SUMMARY
ROAMWORKS‘ new office is being established in Egypt. This subsidiary will have a commercial and technical operations presence in Cairo and will be managed by the regional office in Dubai. The position brings the opportunity of being part of a very dynamic and multicultural team. The role involves immediate engaging of opportunities within the Mansour Group.
The candidate is required to take on the technologies/applications currently available and be part of the product development cycles headed by the Dubai office, reporting to the Technical Manager. The role also involves all aspects of support and commissioning. Frequent traveling will be required to the UAE as part of trainings and quarterly meetings.
Job Description:
DUTIES
- Integrate new devices and technologies based on requirements
- Interacting with commercial team on enhancement/modification requirements
- Writing functional specifications that document hardware integrated and use cases
- Advancing the existing hardware portfolio
- Involvement in integration, testing and implementation phases
- Provide pre-sales support
- Carry out trainings and presentations to clients
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors/Masters of Engineering in Electronics or Instrumentations
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of telematics/telemetry/SCADA/M2M instruments
- Working knowledge of communication technologies GSM/GPRS/IP/Radio Networks
- Leading the development/integration cycle of a product/application
- Best practice methodologies in integration and development
- Good people skills, working with commercial & technical teams
- Good analytical and problem solving ability
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Age between 25-35
- Proficient in English and Arabic language
- Willingness to travel
- Preferred PMP certified

Job Description:
DUTIES
- Gathering market and customer information related to ROAMWORKS‘ target market
- Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
- Seek out, qualify and close new sales opportunities, with a specific focus on new business growth
- Researching the market and related products
- Presenting the product or service in a structured and professional way during meetings with prospects
- Continuously optimize the link between the customer’s operational and business objectives, needs and requirements and the ROAMWORKS solutions in order to provide a total value solution and competitive advantage
- Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
- Advising customers on forthcoming product developments
- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales team leader
- Self-motivated to review his commercial performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and expectations
- Making accurate cost calculations in a timely manner, and providing customers with quotations
- Analyzing future buying trends and reporting back to ROAMWORKS
- Fully understand & apply knowledge of competitor’s business strategies, products and services to favorably differentiate ROAMWORKS from them
- Build & maintain network of contacts, solicit support from and communicate effectively with the clients as well as colleagues
- Attending and participating in team meetings
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Candidates with 3-4 years of experience in sales.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in Arabic & English
- Active team member, self-motivated and result-driven.
- Willing to travel outside Egypt
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications
- Valid drivers license and own car
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Should be located in Egypt and have past experience with sales in Egypt, in the software and solutions industry
- Should have experience in Information and Communication Technology and Wireless Networks
